Cases, Crates & Pallets

A case, crate & pallet manufacturing service is also provided for customers wishing to pack their own goods. Each case is individually made from good quality heat treated timber, with a minimum of 22mm thickness. The boxes are designed to carry the customers specified weight and manufactured to BS 1133.

Case, crate & pallet base designs can vary to suit different loads and applications. The rigidity of the box may be of greater importance for fragile goods, whilst the strength of the base would be an essential consideration for heavy and over size packages.

Export Packaging

Export packing is the companies main service, offering customers professional export packing of items ranging from 2 grammes to 200 tonnes.
This service is available on site, at the customer's works or at our premises in Woodhouse Mill. All export packing is to BS 1133. We are also a member of the Uk Wood Packaging Material Marking Programme and can manufacture to IPPC (ISPM 15) regulations.

Sheffpack have export packing experience for a wide range of industries where products require specific and individual treatment and bespoke methods of packing. Some examples are packing high value items and packing for sea and air freight transportation.

We can pack 20ft or 40ft containers, either open top or general purpose, outside or inside, by skilled staff with years of container loading experience.

Only virgin timber is used for internal chocking to ensure strength and safety. Whether the load be a robust piece of machinery or a vintage car, the same care and attention is taken with the customer's property.
